One thing we have found out about bird watchers, is how friendly they all are. Wherever you are and you come across a fellow birder, they are always willing to pass on information about what they have seen and where they have seen it. For newbies like us this has been very helpful and saved us a lot of time and energy looking in the wrong places at the wrong times.
